Megan and Damian came to see baby Hailey and went home with a dog...Frank is going to miss his pal Bella (always remembered as Runaway Katie to us). She was a dog we were fostering right before Hailey was born.

Baby Hailey's Birthday!

When baby Hailey didn't come on her due date, I was hoping she would be born on my Grandma Birmingham's birthday. Fortunately she decided to enter the world with 13 minutes to spare...Weighing in at a whopping 7 lbs 10 ounces, here is our little girl in her birthday suit!

IT'S A GIRL!!!

She has finally arrived!! Little Hailey Grace was born on 24 July 07 at 11:47 pm. She was 7 lbs 10 ounces and 19 inches long...and what a beauty! Ok maybe we're a little biased but we hope you enjoy some pictures of our little angel (o: She is home now and adjusting to life in the outstide world spending most of her time sleeping...wish I could say the same thing for Jay and I...may the sleep deprivation begin!

Today is the Day! Maybe...

Today is officially my due date...we can only pray that she comes today but I'm not going to hold my breath (o: Everday I go to work I get the "we thought you would be at the hospital" comment...I wish! I guess she will come when she is ready...can't really blame the little one...Mom arrived on Thursday and now we are playing the waiting game!

Welcome to our blog!

Thanks to my good friend Sabrina, the Meier family has entered the world of blogging! So today starts the beginning...today marks the remaining countdown until our due date. 3 more days to go until Hailey Grace is due, however, it feels like its never going to happen! Every night I go to sleep I pray that tonight is the night that she is going to be born, but like the title of our blog, we need to walk by faith and know that the Lord has a plan for us and she will be born when she's ready...although I have to say, I can't wait to reclaim my body back! It's amazing how much I took for granted the simple things in life...like wearing clothes without elastic or sleeping on my tummy.
