Happy 10 month birthday Hailey!

Hi Friends,
Hailey turned 10 months old on the 24th and I just wanted to give you an update on how my little princess is growing!
She is almost walking (I think I've been saying that for months now (o: ); for the past week she has been taking 2, 3 and sometimes 4 steps all by herself!
Hailey is feeding herself most of the time as seen in the picture...her favorite food right now is still tofu (uugh!) and cantaloupe.
She is learning how to share with other kiddos and we just went to our first gymnastics class last week. She had a blast!
Hailey bear still takes a really long nap in the morning and none in the afternoon. Last night she slept 13 hours so Jay and I can't complain!
Hailey is such a happy baby...she smiles from the moment you get her out of her crib until the moment she realizes that she's exhausted or starving.

Happy baby...
Still happy...
Not so happy )o:

Post graduation pictures

After Julie's graduation on Friday, we went to her house to hang out. Hailey played on the grass for a bit, but seeing as she was born in New Mexico where there is little grass to be found, she is still trying to get used to the feel of grass. Hailey was very leery of the grass and eventually got used to it.
Isn't she adorable???
That night, Julie and her roommates had a dessert at her house. She was late to her own party so we had some extra time to TP her room. Now it's important to know that Julie is absolute neat freak and we knew she would be a little peaved...but it was all done out of love for her and her big day!
Trouble makers!
and the reaction..."you have got to be kidding me!"...it was worth it to see the look on her face! We Love you Julie!!

Julie's CU graduation

My little sister graduated from University of Colorado at Boulder on Friday (May 9th). They had a huge ceremony on the 9th with the entire school and her smaller Journalism School graduation was on the 8th. We had an awesome time and we are so proud of Julie! She is a rock star making it through in 4 years which isn't easy these days. Here is proud mamma all dressed up in her warm clothes for the early morning ceremony.
That's Julie with the peace sign...I think over half of the people graduating were on their cell phones trying to find their families during the procession.
Lots of grads!

Grandpa and Grandma came all the way from Wisconsin...aren't they cute! On Thursday evening grandma was really sick and had to go to the hospital. She had a kidney infection that they didn't know about and should be getting out of the hospital today (Tuesday). She is feeling much better but gave us all a scare.
Mom and Dad...proud parents!

Julie's Journalism Schol Graduation

Julie's Journalism School graduation was on Thursday afternoon and it was so awesome to watch her walk across the stage to accept her diploma (o: Our little girl is all grown up!
Julie and some of her Tri Delta sorority sisters that were also in the School of Journalism.
Julie, her sorority "big"sister Lauren (also one of her six roommates) and sweet Hailey. Someone next to her told her that she was like the President...always having babies put into her arms for a kiss and a picture!
Hailey and Uncle Aaron having fun with bubbles! This is how Hailey kisses too...
Isn't she adorable?? Nana bought her a CU cheerleader's outfit and that is what she wore for the graduation!

I love this picture! Jay had just given Hailey a bath and she was so tired...he spiked her hair and this was the picture I took (o:
We just went to Colorado for my sister's college graduation and while there we went to visit Jay's Grandma. Her are a few pictures of our outing...

Here is a before graduation picture that we took at Starbucks before everyone arrived in town. We had so much funny hanging out with Tia Julie!
Here is Hailey Grace and Nana getting a pedicure before the big day. This place rocks! It has a huge screen to watch movies and gives the ladies Diet Coke and M&M's to munch on...what more could a girl ask for!

Lindsay's Baby Shower

A few weeks ago we threw a baby shower for our sweet friend Lindsay. I've known Lindsay since high school and we went to the Air Force Academy together. She was my roommate during helicopter pilot training and we flew together at the 512th Rescue Squadron in Albuquerque. She left the Air Force the same day as I did and we both are stay-at-home mom's and get to see each other's kiddos grow up. This was her cake that our friend Rose made...isn't it awesome!!!
As a Cali girl, she definitley has to make her baby boy (his name is going to be Joseph william) look cool!
This is our friend Felisa...she too is a helicopter pilot and is still in the Air Force. Her and I put this party together and it was so much fun!!
