My final farewell

Amy, Lindsay and Coz (crazy HH-60 gunner)!Painting feet has been a Rescue tradition since the Vietnam War. Every time a flying member of the 512th Rescue Squadron leaves, they get their feet painted (even us Huey peeps are recognized as part of the Rescue tradition since we are all part of the same squadron). Jay would have had his feet painted as well as my husband, but since he was TDY and I flew while I was pregnant with Hailey, it was only fitting that she too should have her feet painted.
Amy and Hailey Grace...we are so proud and honored to be a part of something so great...
The Rescue community moto is: So that others may live. We pray that those who live and fight for our country always stay true to what they believe and remember that what they do is "so that others may live."
Our green feet will be displayed on the ceiling of the 512th Rescue Squadron bar called "The Stop Down Lounge."

My final farewell picture...This is a difficult day for me and I say so long to an amazing career ready to start a new one as a mommy.
