Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta

Hi Friends! I can't believe it's October already! Ever October in Albuquerque they have the annual International Balloon Fiesta. We woke up super early to get to the park before sunrise so we could watch the literally hundreds of balloons participate in what they rightfully call the Mass Ascension. We go every year that we are here and it is spectacular!

This is the first go of balloons. They go in shifts so they don't all run into each other. The day was absolutely beautiful! A little chilly, but perfect weather for the balloons.
Check this out! They have a ton of shape balloons and this was one of them that were new this year. The crew for the Darth Vader balloon were dressed as Star Wars characters.
